1 night´s stay at the Glenwood cottage with private tour and tasting by DP Burger, manager and winemaker. (2 people max)

One of the most beautiful back drops in the Cape Wine Lands. Just 10 minutes from Franschoek town centre, though you feel like you are miles from any where the stunning Glenwood Estate is a gem of a vineyard. Stay at the luxury cottage next to the tasting room with high celling, massive fire place and huge double bed. Then have DP Burger take you on a tour of his immaculate vineyards and cellar. A special vertical wine tasting will then follow, tasting wines straight from the barrel. You will get a real incite into winemaking techniques that you would not get from a standard vineyard tour.

Beautifully furnished bed and breakfast accommodation, a stay in the Catherine of Aragon Suite is an unrivalled blend of luxury and history. The Old House, situated in the mediaeval heart of Shrewsbury, Shropshire, is a Grade II listed building and the oldest private residence in the town.

The Catherine of Aragon Suite is set in a completely private wing of the house, overlooking a lovely secluded garden. It consists of a large living room, hall & bedroom with private bathroom. Included in this nights stay will be a themed wine tasting of your choice hosted by Tony Walters accompanied with a delicious selection of local cheese. Tony will also give you a guided tour around the Old House with a talk on its fascinating history. A themed wine tasting means that you can find out a little more about your favorite wine or try something completely new. You can also suggest your own wine theme if there isn’t one to suite.

Themes include - Blockbuster Reds from the New World, A journey through South Africa’s wineland’s, Sweet wines, Old World Journey, 5 wines you haven’t tried before.
