Cool stainless steel fermented to retain fresh fruit character, the nose displays hints of strawberry and cherry. In the mouth the wine has good weight from the prodominant merlot blend, while being refreshing and fruit driven, with a subtle sweetness.

Ripe white Pear and Honeysuckle characters on the nose lead into a rich fruity palate. This wine is verging on luscious with its generous sweetness and opulent rounded mouthfeel.

Produced from our Onetangi vineyard this merlot dominant wine has the characteristic raspberry and chocolate on the nose. The palate starts with bright raspberry before moving into a plummy pepperiness in the middle. It has a great finish with lovely savoury tannins and some strong tobacco and liquorice notes

The 2008 vintage on Waiheke Island was exceptional with beauitful fruit and a warm dry summer. This wine was made from grapes grown on our Onetangi valley block. Lifted floral aromas of violets and rose petals mingle with fresh cracked black pepper. This rich, complex and beautifully balanced Chardonnay from the 2009 vintage was 100% barrel fermented with 25% in new French barriques. On the nose this wine displays subtle hints of citrus, peach, toasty oak and nut characters. On the palate, refined stonefruit characters are supported by rich butterscotch and savoury notes in perfect balance. The finish is crisp and lingering.
