Colour: Deep ruby-garnet
Nose: Lifted dark fruit supporting spicy, charry oak aromas and earthy undertones.
Palate: A medium bodied, elegant styled wine, with a supple, silky texture, lifted morello cherry and plum fruit flavours and a long supple finish.
Suggested Foods: This wine is particularly well suited to game dishes, braised lamb or hearty casseroles.

The fruit was handpicked, de-stemmed and crushed into a small open top fermenter. Selected yeast strains, a high ferment temperature and regular hand plunging of the cap resulted in a wine of intense colour and flavour. After light pressing the wine was racked to French oak barriques where it was matured for 12 months.
