Hard to Find Wines have a fantastic selection of boutique, premium, organic wines from around the world. Vineyards include Tamburlaine from Australia (Hunter Valley) Australians largest producer of organic wines, although not a large winery in world terms. The winery was established in 1966 in the renowned Pokolbin district of the Hunter Valley. Madonna Estate in California and winemaker/owner Andrea Bartolucci, a third generation grower he believes that organic farming is much more than withholding the use of chemicals, but it also involves nurturing the soil and plants and improving soil fertility. Finally Mountain Oaks in South Africa produces outstanding organic wines. They farm it with organic integrity and are a certified organic vineyard. They have a herd of pedigreed Jersey island cows and several Percheron horses to provide manure for the vineyards and orchards and ducks and geese to keep the vineyards free of snails!
