Our Marketing Team visited Haute Cabriere in Franschhoek, South Africa today ahead of our UK Tasting Events on the 21st and 23rd March.

We were warmly welcomed by Eben Bruintjies and Janine Snyders and their team in the Haute Cabriere tasting room and restaurant. The tasting room was bustling with visitors from all over the world on this beautiful autumn day. While we were there, a tour group from the UK were treated to a demonstration of sabrage. Sabrage is the art of removing the cork from a bottle of sparkling wine (in this case, a bottle of Pierre Jourdan Brut) using a sabre.

We learnt about changes to Haute Cabriere's branding that had just been released. The original red and white had been replaced by a sunny yellow and a regal navy on the Haute Cabriere Range. On the Pierre Jourdan range, the branding had been replaced with a background of rose gold.

The new branding colour extends to the umbrellas outside the tasting room and, contrasted against the clear, bright blue of today's sky, were a beautiful sight.

Achim, former Cellar Master, and Takuan von Arnim, current Cellar Master have always pushed the status quo. They have innovated throughout the history of Haute Cabriere. Because of this push to grow and better the brand and the wines they offer, there are a number of exciting developments that are planned at Haute Cabriere over the coming months. Among these changes are building works to the restaurant and tasting room, to new wines waiting to be released and added to the portfolio.
