Matured in barrels for 9 months, 30% of which are always new barrels.
A wonderful example of an aged South African Pinot Noir. The colouration has mellowed to a light brick colour, with subdued hints of raspberry and blackberry now overtaken by a smooth tannin structure and elegant dryness. This wine has developed beautifully into a true Burgundian style. Drink now or over next 18 months as will see little improvement from its best.
