M Chapoutier Luberon la Ciboise Rouge 2017

This wine is a blend of Grenache and Syrah. The grapes undergo a traditional fermentation in concrete tanks, preserving the fresh fruit character. After fermentation the wine spends a further 6 months in concrete to allow the aromas and flavours to harmonise and the tannin and acidity to soften.

The final wine has a prominent blackberry and mulberry character, with a subtle liqourice aroma and an elegant, silky finish.
