Moana Park Winery is another of our family owned and run vineyards, only set up in 2000 but already knocking out some extraordinary wines at incredibly reasonable prices. The couple behind the vineyard are Dan and Kaylea Barker, both hugely passionate about wine and how to produce top quality boutique wines themselves. Dan, with the aid of James Wilkie, heads up the winemaking team, with both an estate and also a reserve range of wines totalling 14 separate wines. From Pinot Gris and Viognier, to Pinot Noir and Syrah, all of their wines are carefully crafted on their estate in Hawkes Bay, with a philosophy very much of keeping the wines natural and pure. To this end all of the Moana Park wines are certified Vegetarian by the Vegetarian Society of New Zealand, one of only 2 vineyards in New Zealand to have such accreditation.
