Te Hera is an absolute gem of an estate producing in our opinion the most exquisite Pinot Noir from Martinborough. With just 13 acres under vine with 12 of those being varietals of Pinot Noir, the wines produced are truly hand crafted to the highest standards. The original vines were first planted in 1996 and benefit from the fabulous micro climate of Martinborough with cooling winds, low rainfall and long dry Autumns. This coupled with a unique soil structure with underlying gravel deposits, allows Te Hera to grow premium quality fruit which is then expertly handled to produce their Kiritea and Reserve Pinot Noirs.
