This 9 year old was the first bottling in the Gold Spot range and was a limited edition release to celebrate the 135th Anniversary of Mitchell & Son. Matured for nine years in a selection of ex-bourbon barrels, ex-sherry butts, ex-Bordeaux wine casks, and Port Pipes, it offers a rich and intricate flavour profile, alive with exotic fruit notes and distinguished by its signature silky smooth mouthfeel.

Nose
Notes of glazed tropical fruits, succulent melon, and vibrant lime, complemented by hints of toasted oak and warm spiced orchard fruits.

Palate
Exceptionally smooth, featuring subtle stone fruit notes that harmonize with woody spices and hints of cinnamon. Layers of creamy vanilla emerge alongside soft citrus zest and toasted baked almonds.

Finish
An exquisite blend of pineapple and oven-roasted apples, accented by peppercorn spice and deep, warming oak.
