Spain is almost certainly best known for the Rioja region which specialises in oak aged reds from Joven to Crianza and Reserva to Gran Reserva. In recent years the Ribera del Duero region has also seen an increase in popularity, whilst Cava has been a casualty of the Prosecco revolution in the UK.
