Bodegas Roda Cirsion Rioja 2016
Wine Enthusiast 98/100 Falstaff 97/100 Robert Parker 95/100 Tim Atkin 95/100
Intense, complex and enigmatic with smoke, moist earth on the nose. Powerful, voluminous, delicate, with tannin already very fine, a real caress to the palate. Liquorice, chocolate, mint, like an exquisite caramel filled with freshness. It is long, almost immense and the freshness of the fruit remains in the aftertaste. The contribution of Graciano is evident, but it is perfectly integrated under the Tempranillo. The wine is huge but never excessive. Bulky but aerial. Wide and at the same time very long. A large wine of an extraordinary vintage.
