Way back in the 1970's with the first Judgment of Paris tasting, US wines have competed well against the more established wines of Europe. California is home to an exciting wine industry with small boutique artisan wineries sitting next to their far more commercial neighbours. Oregon, Washington and other regions have also joined the US wine regions finding their way over to the UK.
