A blend of 75% Shiraz, 12% Cinsaut, 7% Tinta Barocca, 3% Grenache and 3% Mourvèdre, the wine underwent spontaneous fermentation in closed concrete tanks and was left on the skins for six months before being pressed into old-large format casks for 16 months of maturation.

The aromatics are gorgeous: red and black fruit plus that typical Swartland earthiness initially but then more lifted notes of flowers, dried herbs, pepper and spice.
