Zenato Amarone Classico della Valpolicella DOC 2019

Zenato's 2019 Amarone Classico presents a sophisticated aromatic profile layered with bay leaves, dried prunes and blackberry jam, complemented by leather and subtle chocolate notes. On the palate, velvety tannins support a full-bodied wine with vibrant acidity that cleanses and refreshes, culminating in a savoury finish of toasted black pepper and dark chocolate. Whilst approachable now, this wine will develop further complexity and refinement from 2029 onwards, rewarding patient cellaring.
