Gibbston Valley Winery in Queenstown NZ is the original Pinot Noir producer in Central Otago. Their Pinot plantings date back to the early 1980's and began a revolution in New Zealand wine production with the area now being famous for the notoriously difficult grape varietal.
Today at Gibbston Valley their focus is still very much on Pinot, with a range coming from different blocks around the estate and all offering subtle nuances but with succulent fruit at their core.
